Chapter 5 Operator Interface/Wash Setup Screens

Setup

Setup / Scrub Boost

SCRUB BOOST

is a method to address a vehicle that may need more effort to clean than an average vehicle through

the

wash. It’s a specified zone

where the system will slow the conveyor speed when that vehicle is in that zone. The

modified chain speed is

BOOST CPH

. It should be a speed less than the normal conveyor speed. Input X25 is the

SCRUB BOOST input. Use normally open momentary push button to activate SCRUB BOOST. Button should be

pressed when desired vehicle is the next vehicle to break the bay enter photo-eye beam. SCRUB BOOST is only

available when the system has control of conveyor speed via variable frequency drive.

Setup / VFD Operations

System can control 15 variable frequency drives (VFD) for equipment speed control plus one drive for conveyor speed

control. Belanger assistance required to utilize this feature.

•

ENBL:

Enables associated VFD on RS-485 network.

•

DIR:

Toggle oval to filled to directly enter speed in Hz instead of RPM & Gear Ratio.

•

CONV:

Toggle oval to filled to have VFD operate whenever conveyor is on.

•

PITCH DIA:

The essential diameter of chain drive gear for conveyor.

•

GEAR:

The overall gear ratio.
