open the gates by lowering the lever until it stops against the pin. Close off the gates
with the lever after finishing spreading.
Spreading width
Our pendular spreaders are designed to spread a variety of different materials and
therefore the spread width will vary greatly depending on the type of material you are
trying to spread. With the standard spout mounted, the spreader will spread powdered
materials between 17’ and 20’ and granular materials between 39’ and 47’
(see fig. 8)
.
Only a test run will enable you to determine the actual spreading width of the material
you are trying to spread.
