3.15 - Optional Hopper Cover
The hopper cover is available for all models
(see fig. 22)
. This heavy duty cover helps
to keep moisture out of the material being spread. Cover also prevents powdered
material from being blown over the top of the hopper before being spread.

3.16 - Spreading Charts
The graded scale located on the side of the spreader allows the operator to
predetermine the desired opening of the distribution unit. There are three lines of holes
marked with letters R, S, T
(see fig. 23)
. Each line has 9 holes, which are offset by 4
mm. from one another for a total of 27 different opening positions. This system offers a
quick and accurate adjustment of the distribution unit. The spread tables in the following
pages will help you determine what setting to use according to the type of product you
are spreading. The figure below illustrates the hole selection for “4S”.
