Do not connect EtherCAT P outputs in parallel.
EP9224-0037 converts the incoming EtherCAT signal into an EtherCAT P signal by combining the EtherCAT
signal with the applied supply voltages. The EtherCAT P signal is available at four output ports: X52, X53,
X54, X55.
Electrical isolation
The grounds of the control voltage (GND

) and peripheral voltage (GND
P
) are electrically isolated from each
other in order to ensure the electrical isolation of the peripheral devices on U
P
from the control voltage.
