Operation safety:
Water distiller is based on water evaporation method. Due to that fact,
it heats water up to boiling temperature. Be careful with water distiller
surfaces and distillated water – they can be extremely hot.
Never open working distiller. Before any maintenance make sure that
water distiller has cooled down.
Water distillers with built in tank (models BEAR B 1104, BEAR B 1110, BEAR B 1125) are
equipped with automatic control system and will automatically switch off if tank is full.
Nevertheless, water distiller is a powerful electric equipment that works with liquids and it
must be periodically observed by personnel while operating.
Water distillers without built in tank (models BEAR B 1204, BEAR B 1210) are not equipped
with automatic control system and must be controlled by personnel all the time while
operating. Make sure that distillate receptacle is big enough and not full, before starting
operation.

BEAR B 1210 (hereinafter referred to as water distillers)
are electric single(mono)-distillation water distillers designed for produc-
ing distilled water for laboratory and other use. Water distillers differ in
capacity and features, depending on model.
2.2. Water distillers are designed to work either with single phased 120 V or 3-phased 200-
220 VAC electric network (for USA, Canada, Mexico and other countries with corre-
sponding voltage standards)
2.3. Water distillers power consumption, not more than:
1.5 kW – BEAR B 1104, BEAR B 1204 (3 kW modifications are also avail-
able)
7.5 kW – BEAR B 1110, BEAR B 1210
18 kW – BEAR B 1125
2.4. Water distiller’s capacity at rated mains voltage, not less than
0.5 gallon of distillate per hour – BEAR B 1104, BEAR B 1204 (1 gallon in
