Current Generation
MC4 is able to generate current both in source and sink mode. In
source mode MC4 provides the supply power to the loop. In sink
mode an external power supply is used and MC4 controls the
current flow.
Function:
Current Source or Sink
The connection of the current loop varies depending on the setting of
the
External Supply, Sink Current (reverse polarity) check box.

If the loop resistance of the external circuit is too high or infinite, the
message "
Overload " is displayed until the load is reasonable.
