4.4.3 source of S6508 IOS
All switch IOS is distributed by Shanghai Baud Data Communication Co., Ltd.
4.5 Install and upgrade S6508 IOS.
Installation and upgradation of system IOS can be run in BOOTROM moniter
enviroment or run-time enviroment, you can also upgrad BIOS in BOOTROM moniter
enviroment.
4.5.1 Installation and upgradation about S6508 system softerware.
1. download switch.bin by TFTP method
(1) Run S6508 system software of MSU, setup configurable enviroment as
mentioned in 1.2, Connect PC’s COM port to console of primary MSU of s6508.
(2) TO finishe installation or upgradation of system software, Use following step to
download system software to MSU.
(3) Power on system, when prompt selt-test information, press ctrl+p and enter
system monitor mode.
