Electrical Power
The machine has been preset to the voltage specified on the rating plate
prior to delivery. The customer is responsible to furnish the connection
to the mains supply per the documentation of the electrical drawings.
The back-up fusing on the installation side must be in accordance with
the values specified in the installation specific CONNECTION SCHEDULE
DRAWING - PUMP STATION. The machine must only be plugged into a
grounded socket.
18.6.1
Connection Point at the Machine
Electrical power is be routed through the connection shown at
item 6
Figure 38 - Pump Station Connections
A SO cord pigtail is
included with each unit to connect it to mains power.
18.7
Compressed Air
The compressed air supply should have a minimum pressure of 70 PSI
(4.8 bar). Compressed air capacity for one machine is 28 l/min
18.7.1
Connection Point at the Machine
Connect the compressed air line to the push-to-connect fitting at
item 4
Figure 38 - Pump Station Connections
on page 53.
Alternatively, the
fitting can be removed and a threaded connection with customer supplied
fitting can be used.
18.8
Coolant Supply to the Machine
A coolant system is required with a hydraulic delivery rate of the
connected pump of 100 lpm at an input pressure as defined by the
generator manufacturer. The coolant supply line is piped from the
coolant system with the minimum requirements defined as:
Maximum flow to generator of 70 lpm.
Minimum additional flow to the Machine cooling section of 20 lpm (flows
to generator and cooling section need to be added together).
18.8.1
Connection Point at the Machine
The incoming coolant supply line (for both the generator coolant supply
and the Machine internal cooling) is piped as one line to the single fluid
connection at
Figure 38 - Pump Station Connections
page 53.
Consult the generator manufacturer’s documentation for appropriate line
size from the Machine to the generator connection.
18.9
Clean Coolant Supply to Generator
Typical generator connection is 5/8” reinforced tubing. A 5/8” hose barb
is provided for connection inside the Machine. Consult the generator
manufacturer’s documentation for appropriate line size from the Machine
to the generator inlet.
