HOW TO SET COIN COMPARITOR MECHS
Game not coining up.
Ensure game makes sound
when coin switch is triggered.
Verify communication
between Central Main Board
and Door Board.
Game set to large amount of
credits per game.
Faulty coin mech
Check coin switch—Should be wired normally
closed. (NC) Switch should be up.
Check wiring to Door Board.
Part #’s AACE1527, AACE5169
Refer to “No Communication between boards”
troubleshooting section.
Check Mother Board dipswitches # 1 & # 2
Swap mech between stations to identify a faulty
mech
Coin comparators come standard on a Trolls game that is not specifically ordered for use with a card
swipe system. These mechs are specifically designed to work with any size coin or token.
Coin mechs can be swapped between stations to identify a faulty mech.
3 items to check on the coin mech:
1.) Slide back the
housing and replace
the yellow plastic
chip with the coin or
token you are using.
The mech will com-
pare the coin insert-
ed to this coin.
2.) Ensure this switch is
up - to the N.C. position.
(For normally closed
operation)
3.) This is the pulse
speed position. Set to the
middle position for 50 ms
