The connection of the switch cabinet to the electrical supply and the connection
of the separator motor to the switch cabinet must be performed by an electrical
expert. The cable dimensions and the preliminary fuse must correspond to the
power specifications.
The BAUER separator is generally delivered with an electrical switch cabinet that was designed for pre-
cisely your application (option).
Normally, the switch cabinet has additional connections, e.g. for the feed pump, the fill level sensor,
etc., which are controlled by the switch cabinet or which control the operation of the separator. The cir-
cuit diagrams contained in the switch cabinet explain the individual electrical connections, the cabling
and the circuits. Your electrician requires these circuit diagrams to connect the separator to the switch
cabinet and your local power supply.
Every part and every component in the switch cabinet is numbered and listed in the parts list for the
switch cabinet, which is appended to the circuit diagrams in the switch cabinet. Additional information
required for ordering replacement parts, such as the manufacturer, can be determined based on these
article numbers.
WARNING
The correct installation of the switch cabinet is absolutely essential for faultless opera-
tion. It is also absolutely essential that the operating personnel are familiar with the vari-
ous settings on the switch cabinet.
