Cleaning the bubble pipe

Clamp the 1.5 mm drill bit in the appropriate chuck
(see page 127).
•
Insert the drill bit into the bubble pipe and turn the bit while
pushing it back and forth.
•
Repeat this until all the coking has been detached and the pipe
is largely free.

Install the upper section of the distillation flask (1).
•
Only hand-tighten the bolt (2) at first.
