Cleaning the Cooling Tank
Cleaning Non-Recirculating Water
Cooling Tank
The non-recirculating water cooling tank should be
drained and rinsed out every six months. Do not clean
the tank when the sterilizer is in operation.
Using the optional overflow tube (supplied) push the con-
nector fitting into the drain connection at the bottom of
the tank to empty it.
Remove the drain tube when the tank is empty, and rinse
the tank with a solution of household bleach (3/4 cup)
and distilled or deionized water (1 gal.). Drain solution
and rinse with distilled or deionized water before refilling.
Clean filter in the inlet line fitting before connecting to
sterilizer.
Refill the tank with clean distilled or low quality deionized
water (minimum 0.5 megohm/cm, maximum 1.5
megohm/cm) to put the system back in service.
Hot Surface
Burn Hazard: Do not clean the tank
when the sterilizer is in operation. Allow
the Non-recirculating Cooling Tank to cool
to room temperature before cleaning the
tank.
