X-series tile connectivity
Connectivity
There are seven connection ports on the back of an X-series tile. Two power sockets (one input and one output) at the left and four
bidirectional data ports. Two data ports at the left side and two data ports at the right side. There is also one USB port for service
purposes.

USB service port
The data ports consist of two dual SFP+ sockets. The tile automatic detects the incoming signal on one of the two dual SFP+ sockets.
The other dual socket will automatically act as output port. So, it doesn’t matter on which data input socket, left or right, the data is
coming in. The X-series tile switches the functionality of the SFP+ sockets spontaneously between input and output. Barco provides
short data linking cables with SFP+ plugs, which are used to realize the dual data path from tile to tile in a daisy chain manner.
The power input connector consist in a circular socket type. Barco provides X-series power spider cables, which subdivide power
from the power source to series of tiles of maximum (see table under 7.2) tiles each.
