Web Interface Discovery
WebUI procedure
To be able to discover other NGS-D320 devices from the web UI of one NGS-D320 device, you must

rst
log in to this device.
1. Login ("Login", page 22).
2. Select the tab Discovery

3. The system starts searching the network and lists all devices linked to your network.
4. The table lists this information for your NGS-D320:
- ID: Identi
fi
cation LED is lit or not (lightbulb)
- Name: Name of the device in the system
- Encoder: Audio/Video inputs

- Decoder: Audio/Video outputs

- IP address: Device IP address
More information on the device (software version, serial number,…) can be shown in the table by click-
ing
This table is read-only. It cannot be used for multiple device con
fi
guration accross the network. To
achieve that, the device must be used in Managed mode in a system.
5. Press the
light bulb
in the table above (image 4-6) : The corresponding device will be put in or out of
Identi
fi
cation mode.
A device in Identi
fi
cation mode will blink the blue identi
fi
cation LED and put an identi
fi
cation message
in overlay on all video outputs.
2. Blue when actively receiving signal (This doesn’t mean it is encoded, it means there is an active and correct signal present at this
interface.)
