4.7 Control lock: OSD menu locking/unlocking
About the control lock
As described in “ Control lock ” , page 41, the control lock can be enabled to avoid unwanted access. When the
OSD is locked, pressing the key after unlocking the keyboard will not activate the OSD menu, but will make
the OSD lock window appear. The OSD menu can only be accessed after pressing a sequence of keys.

To lock/unlock the menu
1. Unlock the keyboard (see “ Keyboard locking/unlocking ” , page 24)
2. Press the key.
3. When the OSD lock window appears, press the following key sequence to unlock the OSD menu:

4.8 Viewing 3D images
About 3D image viewing
When using the display to view 3D images, following must be taken into account:
• The display must be set to 3D operation mode. See “ 2D / 3D mode ” , page 42.
• The 3D format setting of your display must be in line with the format of the 3D video input signal. See “ 3D
format ” , page 42.
• Ensure that the 3D image is properly displayed by matching the left and right view to the corresponding
eye (a suitable 3D test source is needed). See
“ H parallax ” , page 43 and “ V parallax ” , page 43.
• Only the 3D glasses supplied by Barco must be used for proper 3D perception.
• The viewing distance must be approximately 150 cm (5 feet) and should never be less than 75 cm (2.5
feet) away from the display.
• The viewing angle must be approximately 7 ° from the vertical orthogonal direction. Adjust the vertical tilt of
the display to adapt at the viewer position.
• Follow all safety precautions related to 3D image viewing and 3D glasses. See “ Safety information ” , page
48.
Daily operation
