Graphic User Interface Overview
About
The graphic user interface of the Control Unit 3 is divided into two areas. The upper area is always visible and holds general system
controls for starting and stopping a preset, as well as information about the currently selected preset, system name and volume. By
default, the lower area shows the Home tab, which displays a list of all presets and their associated services. The tab bar offers
quick navigation to the Preset Details, Filter Library, and additional plug-ins, depending on your system con
fi
guration.

Preset Structure
About
To achieve maximum performance without sacri
fi
cing
fl
exibility, the IOSONO CORE is able to load only the software modules that
are necessary for a speci
fi
c application. The set of con
fi
guration instructions of the different modules are stored as presets. For
correct operability the preset con
fi
guration must at least contain the following data and software modules:
•
Loudspeaker File: de
fi
nes the arrangement of the connected loudspeakers
•
I/O Control service: de
fi
nes the
fl
ow of audio signals to and from the IOSONO CORE
•
Processing service: de
fi
nes the way the audio is processed by the IOSONO CORE
Although essential for optimized reproduction,
fi
lters do not have to be con
fi
gured for a preset to properly
operate.
