7.7.4.3.1 Description of the output and communication layer
Description
The output and communication layer has a multiple functionality:
• IR receiver (front side of the projector): receives commands from the remote control (RC) and forwards them to the processor
of the PMP
• wired RC (remote control): receives commands from the wired remote control (RC) and forwards them to the processor of the
PMP
• RS232 serial connector: to control the projector
• DVI output: image as it leaves the PIP on the PMP. Not enabled in case of stereo
Monitors connected to the DVI output may show a bad image if Full screen representation is ON in the OSD
(see User’s Guide for details on how to toggle between ON and OFF)
