8. Optical parts and servicing procedures
8.7.1 Description of the light pipe
Description
The light pipe is a unit consisting of the following items:
• integrating rod
• frame
• window
• aperture
It can be taken out of the projector separately or as a part of the engine.

8.7.2 Removing the light pipe
It is also possible to take the light pipe out as a part of and together with the engine. See the chapter about
the engine.
Necessary tools
• Torx screwdriver T10
• Phillips screwdriver Ph1
How to remove the light pipe?
1. Remove the covers (see concerning chapters):
- rear cover
- top cover
- engine fan cover 1
2. Remove the engine controller frame assembly (see concerning chapter)
3. Remove the optical array (see concerning chapter)
4. Remove both bolts and the screw as indicated on the pictures below
