Use this procedure only when the machine will not start or run to help prevent damage to the hydraulic system.

MOVING A 2890SP MACHINE WITHOUT POWER
NOTICE
1. Close the Brake Release Valve (see Figure 1) by pushing the control valve knob down and turning it
clockwise. It will be located on the top of the machine in between the hydraulic tank and the control box.
2. Depress the brake release until you can’t pump it any more. The brake release is located inside of the
control cabinet. See Figure 2.
3. The machine is now in freewheel mode, although there will be drag from the drive wheel motors.
4. Reverse Step 1 after moving the machine, by pushing the control valve knob down and
turning it counter-clockwise.
