Repairs and service

Repair work may only be carried out by authorised, quali

ed personnel or by the
manufacturer. The manufacturer assumes no liability for unauthorised interventions on the
ultrasonic bath!
If errors or defects are ascertained as a result of the functional check, and if such errors
are impossible to rectify, the ultrasonic bath may no longer be used. In such a case, please
contact the supplier or the manufacturer:

In the case of returns, the general terms and conditions for delivery and payment of
BANDELIN electronic GmbH & Co. KG shall apply.
In addition, the ultrasonic bath is to be cleaned and decontaminated (if necessary), see the
following chapter.

If the ultrasonic bath is sent back to the manufacturer for repairs (with accessories, if
applicable), the form "Certi
fi
cate of Decontamination" is to be
fi
lled out and a
ffi
xed to the
packaging on the outside, in a visible spot.
If this form has not been
fi
lled out, we reserve the right to refuse receipt of the package in
order to protect our employees.

6.4.2
Replacing fuses
The ultrasonic bath is protected by 2 electrical microfuses that will activate in the event of
fault or overload. If one or both fuses blow, the ultrasonic bath will stop functioning (the
LC display will remain dark).
In general, the ultrasonic bath is defective and must be sent to the manufacturer for repair.
The ultrasonic bath does not need to be opened in order to replace the fuses.
The fuses (2× microfuses 5 × 20 mm, T 4 A) are housed in a plug-in module in the mains
socket, which is located on the rear side of the ultrasonic bath.
