AIR PRESSURE SWITCH FUNCTIONAL
DESCRIPTION
The air pressure switch is used to lock the equipment if air pressure
is not at the expected value. The pressure switch must be set to
close the normally open contact, when the air pressure in the burner
reaches a sufficient value.
To ensure the air pressure switch correct operation, with burner at
the minimum output, increase the adjustment value until reaching
the triggering value which must be followed by the immediate burner
shut-down. Release the burner by pushing the appropriate button
and readjust the pressure switch until preventilation air pressure
can be detected.

The burner is supplied with a pressure signal port (S) for the
pressure switch (T) on the lung’s upper RH side, with gas train exit
upwards (FIG. 1).
If the gas train exit direction is downwards and therefore the lung
is turned 180° with respect to the settings of FIG. 1, we suggest
to disassemble pressure port (S) and pressure switch (T) and to
assemble them again in their suitable seats on the opposite side
of the lung, so that the port is on the upper RH side again (FIG. 2).
This position ensures a correct and reliable pressure signal for the
air pressure switch.
