Programming

The effective bleed set point should be defined by the owner or by its representative (contractor, water treatment

specialist,...) in function of the following parameters:

Make Up water quality parameters

Materials of construction: refer to the "Water Care" on page 7 and the submittal information of the

BAC equipment

The water treatment program implemented, including formulation and concentration of biocides and anti-

scale / anti-corrosion inhibitors

The system volume to be treated

Anti-scale and anti-corrosion dosing is made in function of the make up water quality. An impulse will be given to

the dosing during XX minutes / YY seconds after each XXX liters of make up water.
One biocide (Bio 1) will be dosed in shock during X minutes / YY seconds at regular interval (weekly or daily

mode). Pre-bleed is done before dosing and bleed lock out to be made for X hours / YY minutes after dosing.
The second biocide (Bio2) will be an oxidizing biocide that will be dosed in function of a Redox measurement,

providing indirect correlation with the remaining oxidizing biocide value in the system.
