16. The level is located on the right shooter rail. This allows the playfield pitch angle to be properly
adjusted WITHOUT REMOVING THE GLASS. The first line, (closest to the front of the game), on the
level is approximately 6 degrees. Every line thereafter is approximately another 1/2 degree of pitch.
The recommended pitch is 6-1/2 degrees. The NOSE of the bubble should be between the first and
second line on the level. See Figure 13.

17. Move the game into the desired location. Adjust the leg levelers so that the playfield pitch is the
recommended 6-1/2 degrees. This places the game in a FIXED position. Begin by screwing the leg
levelers all the way into the legs. If the floor is level, the cabinet is designed to position the playfield
at exactly at 6-1/2 degrees with the levelers as shown in Figure 1. From this position continue to
adjust the levelers to compensate for an uneven or pitched floor. On carpeting, the game must be
allowed to settle overnight. Check the level and pitch again the next day. See Figure 14.

IMPORTANT!
Playfield pitch angle can affect the operation of the plumb bob tilt. The plumb bob weight is among the
parts in the cash box. After completion of the desired playfield pitch angle setting, the operator should
install the weight and adjust this tilt mechanism for proper operation. The unit is factory installed for a 6-
1/2 degree angle. If an adjustment is necessary, loosen the screw at the bottom of the unit. Move the
pointer, one grove at a time to the left or the right, depending on the degree desired. Hold the pointer in
place and tighten screw.
