The ignition switch is located on the right side of the steering column. The switch has four positions.
LOCK :You can insert or remove the key only in this position. The steering column gets locked when the key is removed.
ACC : By turning key to ACC (key in) position, all accessories including music system will be ‘ON’.
ON : All electrical gadgets and accessories ON.
START : Turn the key further clockwise to the START position to start the engine. As soon as the
engine starts release the ignition key. It returns back to ON position. While cranking, all accessories will be momentarily
‘OFF’.
Warning:
Do not turn the key while driving. Driver could lose control of vehicle causing vehicle damage & personal injuries.
Note:
Having additional key / attachments to the vehicle’s key is not advisable. It can damage the Ignition switch.
Do not leave the key in the ACC/ON for extended periods. This will discharge the battery.
