Wiper care:
Check the condition of Wiper blade regularly. If the wiper blade is not wiping properly, lift the blade over the glass &
clean the windshield glass & blades with mild detergent & rinse with water. If thin lines of water are observed after the
wiper blade sweep then check the gap between arm strip and glass. Adjust if required.
Wiper blade angle on windshield glass should be 90 degree i.e. perpendicular.
Note:
- If wiper blade encounters too much dirt on wind shield surface in its operation, the wiper motor would stop working
briefly for about 7 sec’s after which wiper motor will start to after wash function again. This is to safe guard wiper
motor from over heating. In such a scenario don't continue to drive the vehicle.
- Instead park the vehicle to a side and allow wiper motor to cool down. At the same time manually clean the debris/
mud on wind shield glass.
- Do not operate the windshield washer continuously for more than 10 seconds, or when the washer fluid tank is
empty.
- Do not add detergent or any solvent in the windshield washing water.
- After wash function is activated, there will be one wipe of wiper.
- When parking vehicle for long durations or while parking under hot sun it is recommended to fold the wiper arm so
that wiper blade is lifted off the glass.
- Replace the wiper blade before start of Monsoon for better efficiency.
