Pulley Cover Open and Close
Open the cover – Hold the handle of left side of the cover (A)
and push upward to the highest point and then release
slightly.
The latch bracket (B) will lock into position to hold the cover
in the open state.
Close the cover – Hold the handle of left side of
the cover (A) and push upward to the highest
point.
Lift up and forward on the latch bracket (B) to
release the latch and then lower the cover to the
closed position. (The motor power can not be
started when the cover is open.)
Speed Range Change
1. Disconnect the drill press from the power supply.
2. Lift the belt cover and latch it into the open position.
3. Loosen knob (A) on the left side of headstock.
4. Push handle (B) forward to release the belt tension.
5. Use the chart to determine the rpm desired.
6. Rotate the belt pulley slowly to help re-position the belt in
the correct groove.
