Configuring your Computer
If you do not have a DHCP network, you need to manually configure
your computer to access the user interface. These instructions are
only applicable for phones that are not part of a DHCP network.
1. Connect one end of RJ45 to LAN port (
), and the other end
to PC.
2. From your desktop, select
Start
>
Run
. Enter
control ncpa.cpl
and
then click
OK
. This opens
Network Connections
.
3. Right-click
LAN
and then select
Properties
.
4. In the
Local Area Connection Properties
dialog box, select
Internet
Protocol (TCP/IP)
and then click
Properties
.
5. In the
Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties
dialog box, select
Use
the following IP address.
Enter the
IP address:10.0.0.100
and
Subnet mask:255.255.255.0
.
6. Click
OK
to close the
Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties
dialog
box.
7. Click
Close
to close the
Local Area Connection Properties
dialog
box.
