8.1
Safety Notes for Fault Clearance
Before clearing a fault, the following safety notes must always be adhered to:
WARNING
Risk of chemical burns and burns when opening the container!
The supply line is pressurized. The person may be struck by cleaning jets or come into
contact with residual fluid from the supply line and device. There may also be hot vapors
in the container.
There is a risk of death or severe physical injuries.
DO NOT open the container during the cleaning process.
Before starting work, observe the working steps of the switch-off procedure (see
section 7.2 Switch-off Procedure
Before opening the container, observe the cooling and draining time.
Use personal protective equipment (e.g. protective gloves, safety shoes, safety
goggles).
WARNING
Hazardous situations caused by performing work on the device incorrectly!
There is a risk of death or severe physical injuries.
Repairs and fault clearance work must be performed only by qualified experts who
have knowledge of the “Technische Regeln für Betriebssicherheit (TRBS)” (German
technical rules for operational reliability and safety).
