2.2 Selecting a sound source

To select a sound source, turn the source selector
(2). The selected program source is shown in large
letters on the display (5) - e.g. RCA, XLR, USB, OPTO
or COAX. An except ion i s the TUNER input c ard :
Here, e.g. the frequency RDS name of the currently
selected station is displayed in large letters instead
(see section "
Set RDS display
" on page 20).
2.3 Volume setting
To adjust the volume, use the right-hand rotary con -
t ro l ( 6 ). T he c ur re nt vo l um e v a l ue i s d i s p l a ye d
numerically (0 to 99.5 dB) in large letters in the dis
-
play (5).
The step size of the volume change depends on
the rota tion speed. Slow rotat ion causes a level
change in steps of 0.5 dB, fast turning changes the
volume in 2 dB steps.
Please note: If an optional digital input is selected
and there is no valid digital signal, the display will
show
NO DIG SIGNAL instead of a volume value. In
this state, adjusting the volume is not possible.
