3.11 Full measurement
“The “
Full measurement
” mode combines the following measurements into one user-guided
procedure:
1.
Prepare vehicle for the measurement
2.
Verification of zero-potential

HV+ measurement against HV-
2.2
HV+ measurement against Chassis
2.3
HV- measurement against Chassis
3
HV Insulation measurement at the zero-potential system
3.1
HV+ measurement against Chassis
3.2
HV- measurement against Chassis
4.
SAE J1766 measurement on the live system

Battery voltage measurement HV+ against HV-
4.2
Insulation measurement HV+ against Chassis
4.3
Insulation measurement HV- against Chassis

When you click on the
Full measurement
mode (see Fig. 3-1), a screen of safety instructions
will appear.
You must read and observe these safety instructions.

The AVL DiTEST HV Safety 2000
safety test
is carried out:
- Connect the probe tips briefly
- Press and hold the test button on the red test adapter until the safety test has completed
- The result of the safety test is displayed

Proceed as instructed on the screen.
As the procedure is menu-driven, a detailed description is not provided here.
Please refer to the description for the “
Voltage measurement
”, “
HV insulation measurement
”
and “
SAE J1766 measurement
” modes in sections 3.1, 3.4 and 3.5.

At the end of “
Full measurement
” mode, the combined result of all measurements is displayed.
5.
Clicking on
F6 Report
creates a report of the measurement results (see chapter 3.1).
6.
To repeat the “
Full measurement
”, click on
F8 Next
or press and hold the test button on the
red test adapter.
7.
<< Cancel
cancels the “
Full measurement
”.
If no stable measured value is displayed:
- Start a new measurement
- Press and hold the test button on the red test adapter until a stable measured value is
displayed
- If necessary, restart AVL DiTEST HV Safety 2000 or AVL DSS
