Explanations:
Improper use or abuse
(examples, non-exhaustive enumeration)
Intentional alteration, manipulation
of the basic Hybrid bike configuration (esp. Bosch/OEM) by trying to
exceed power and speed limits e.g. intervention in gear ratio, wheel circumference parameters, electronic
circuits and sensors, operating computer and software
Combination of Bosch components
with other non-approved components, in order to interfere or change
its functions
Removal of protective equipment
, sensors, circuits, in order to change system parameters or disclose
data stream, program code, dismantle cables and reverse polarity
Applications outside of the pre-determined operating parameters
e.g. overheating, mechanical shock,
immersion, aggressive chemical environment
Improper transportation
e.g. bike with operating computer and battery attached, open transported on
car rack with high wind and water pressure, salt, temperatures
Intentional or negligent changes
of torque moments at critical components e.g. motor expansion bolt
Tuning measures
incl. manipulations and
racing
engagements
NOT under warranty
are all parts of wear and tear in normal operations or wear parts whose replacement is
regularly required, such as tires, chains, sprockets, brake discs etc.
Final check
1. Do you have read the operating manual carefully before the first ride and be sure, that you
are fully familiar with the operations of your ave. Hybrid bike
2. Are all Hybrid bike functions checked before using, are all missing or damaged parts replaced
and necessary adjustments or repairs carried out
3. Do you have taken note that the product warranty is limited or void if the Hybrid bike
is used in a different manner than relaxing locomotion and transport
the product is modified significantly, manipulated or damaged
and that the manufacturer cannot be held liable for damages or losses caused by improper and
abusive use of this product.
