The carrier on ave. Hybrid bikes are stable and designed for smaller loads up to 20 kg (weight
w/o battery) and are not intended for the carriage of passengers or heavy loads.
If you want to use a bike trailer (max. load 30 resp. 40 kg), you should seek expert advice first,
because the bike is not prepared for trailers by factory.
Example:
Carrier MH7
TH5
IMPORTANT: Check your carrier on strength before loading. There should be no loose or jack-
knifed part of major character to be transported. The cargo must be secured (tightening lever,
belt, etc.), side pockets should be fastened to the brackets (lashing down tapes) and containers
are to be covered, not to lose any parts while driving.
All models except the fully MTB‘s XH7, XH9 are equipped with side stands on the rear. They
provide a secure position (see fig. below) and are to be in-folded, well fixed (Hebie).
IMPORTANT: Insert the side stand only on a firm base. A bike drop otherwise might damage
valuable parts of the bike or disturb functions. If you start driving again, flip the side stand first
back into the transport position.
An upright side-stand during a drive can affect your balance and lead to serious down falls
.
