If the operating computer is removed from the holder (4), the previously indicated support
level (b) is stored, only the motor power indication (a) remains empty.
→ Switch on/off push assistance
The push assistance (button ‘walk’ at operating unit) gives your bike e-motor support at a
fingertip, provided you are rolling/moving/pushing the bike with both wheels on the ground, at
low speeds and without pedalling!
The level of support in this function depends on the gear position and steps up to maximal 5.5
km/h. The smaller the selected gear, the lower is the velocity.
Note: The push assistance means, it must be used solely for pushing the Hybrid bike and having
both wheels on the ground when using it, otherwise it could cause injury!
To turn on the push assistance, press the ‘WALK’ button (14) on the operating unit (10) and
hold it down. The e-drive then pushes your ‘led bike’ in rolling motion.
The push support function immediately turns off again when the following occurs:
– you release the ‘WALK’ button
– you are pedalling
– the wheels of the bikes are blocked e.g. by braking or collision with an obstacle
– the rolling speed exceeds 6 km/h
→ Switch on/off lighting
To turn the lights on and off, use the button (2) on the operating computer (3). Depending on
your bike version, there are two alternatives:
-
international versions (with system power supply) allow the simultaneous switching of the
front & rear light and the computer display backlight. After switching, a message ‘lights on’ or
‘lights off’ is shown on the display (c) for a short time (1 s)
- German versions have to provide lighting power by a dynamo. Therefore the button (2)
switches the display backlight, only. Dynamo front and rear lights are switched by a separate
button, usually at the back of the front light.
