Power Up Sequence
Remember to power up the KVM switch, the maintenance modems, and any application
servers.
Setting IP Addresses
Set IP Address for S6x00 CPU
To set the IP address for the S6200 Application Server, follow these steps:
1. Switch the KVM switch to the S6x00 CPU.

Set IP Address for Application Servers
All application servers except CRS (Web Portal, Web Conferencing) run Windows 2003 Server.
For each application server, follow these steps:
1. Set the KVM switch to connect the keyboard, monitor, and mouse to the application server.
2. Click
Start
.
3. Select
Settings |Control Panel.
4. Double-click
Network Connections
.
5. Select the Network Interface Card.
6. Select
File | Properties
(or right-click and select
Properties
).
7. Select
Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
.
8. Click
Properties
.
9. Enter the
IP Address
,
Subnet Mask
, and
Default Gateway
address from the site survey.
10. Enter the
Preferred DNS Server
and
Alternate DNS Server
addresses from the site
survey.
11. Click
OK
.
12. Click
OK
