Environmental Requirements
Verify that the customer-provided operating conditions, power, and cooling requirements have
been met.
Operating Conditions
●
Ambient temperature, operating: 5 C to + 40 C (32-104°F)
●
Ambient temperature, storage: -40 C to +66 C
●
Relative humidity, operating: 5% to 95%, non-condensing at 40 C
●
Non-operating shock: 30g for 6ms
●
Operating shock: 15g for 11ms
Power and Cooling Requirements
The following sections describe the thermal and power requirements for each platform.
S6200 Application Server
The S6200 Application Server can be configured with one or two AC power supplies that work
in tandem to provide N+1 redundancy. The supplies are accessible from the rear of the unit and
may be hot swapped.
Thermal Dissipation
The thermal dissipation for the 6200 Application Server is less than 1878 BTU per hour.
AC Input Requirements
The S6200 Application Server has two independent AC inputs and can support mains
redundancy. For redundant operation connect each input to isolated AC inputs.
