Performing the Upgrade

You may receive your upgrade files on DVD or in zip format. If your files are in
zip format, ensure they are extracted to an accessible location before
proceeding with the upgrade.

Note:

If the keycode containing the relevant upgrade entitlement has not been

applied to the BCM, you will not be able to perform the upgrade.

Note:

The upgrade process can take up to 30 minutes, during which some or

all of the BCM services will be unavailable.

Note:

Do not interrupt or power down the BCM during the upgrade process,

as this could cause catastrophic failure to the BCM.

Use the following procedure to apply the upgrade files to the BCM.
