13.6.3.2
[Warp adjust]
Click [Pattern] and select one color and Enable test pattern to show grid pattern on the screen. The
pattern default grid size is 32x32 pixels and it can be changed as needed. User can also neglect this
step to show signal image on the screen.
Select [Warp adjust], grid type and adjusting Step (default is 16 pixels) for the adjustment. BLUE
direction keys are for control point selection and RED direction keys are for value adjustment.
[2x2] alignment is for quick image corner alignment. Usually, user needs to apply [2x2] geometry
alignment first to draw image 4 corners to the required positons, then go to [5x5] or [9x9] for further
geometry alignment. After [5x5] or [9x9] alignment, if user goes back to [2x2] alignment, then only
[2x2] alignment will be reserved and all other alignments will be reset.
For most of the applications, we propose to follow [2x2]
[5x5]
[9x9]
[17x17] sequence for
geometry alignment. Please note that if you execute [9x9] or [17x17] and back to [5x5], it will only
keep [5x5] data and reset all the rest.
In each grid alignment, if only click [Show grid], it will only execute image outline position adjustment.
The center image will be changed proportionally with outline position.
To click [Internal Grid] will limit your adjustment within internal grid area. Usually, it is for detailed
image position fine-tune.
For edge blending, please align all the grids in edge blending area stacked together to ensure clear
image can be obtained.
After finish geometry alignment, user needs to execute [Video wall] setting and [Edge Blend] in
AV-BOX
hardware system to complete the whole edge blending process.
13.6.3.3
[Warp Shift]
[Warp Shift] is one function for image 4 corner position fine-tune. The major difference from [2x2]
adjustment is that [Warp Shift] can do 4 corner adjustment but still keep the setting in other [Warp
Adjustment]. This function is good for below operations:
a
、
Final image 4 corner position fine-tune without affecting other warp adjustment
b
、
After lamp change or long term deformation of the mounting rack, user can easily apply [Warp
Shift] to align the projector back to original position without changing image curve.
c
、
Convenient for after service—save time and money.
13.6.3.4
[Edge Blend]
It is to set the right location and pixel number for edge blending based on geometry alignment.
To align the color in edge blending area through Gamma adjustment.
To execute [Offset] to do black level uplift.
This function can be implemented through
AV-BOX
hardware system independently.
