5 Applications case study
5.1 Case A: Conventional curved screen edge blending
a.
No PC is required.
b.
To feed signal from any signal source to
VWC-44
HDMI input port and connect to the 2
nd
VWC-44
through loop out port. No HDMI splitter is required. The latency among these
VWC-44
will be only
few
lines. The max daisy chain connection can be up to about 12x
VWC-44
. However, it will
depend on
the
HDMI cable length and quality. User needs to check in advance.

The maximum input resolution can be up to 2560x1600/3840x1080 @60Hz or 3840x2160 @30Hz to
get the best result in multiple projector edge blending.

User needs to do geometry adjustment and warping function to align the images onto curved screen
and let the images between two projectors have the same grid size and with necessary overlap pixels.

After geometry and warp adjustment, user can apply Video Wall function in
VWC-44
to split the
image,
cropping the correct area and assign to each projector.
f.
The last step is to do edge blending to combine the images into one seamless big screen.
g.
If the application is in dark environment, to do [Offset] compensation is required to eliminate black
level color difference between edge blending area and none edge blending area.
