WORK AREA

1.  Keep work area clean and well lit.

Cluttered benches and dark areas invite

accidents.

2.  Do not use power tools in explosive

atmospheres, such as in the presence of

flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power

tools create sparks, which may ignite the

dust and fumes.

3.  Keep bystanders, children and visitors

away while operating a power tool.

Distractions can cause you to lose

control.

PERSONAL SAFETY

1.  Stay alert, watch what you are doing,

and use common sense when operating

a power tool. Do not use tool while tired

or under the influence of drugs, alcohol

or medication. A moment of inattention

while operating power tools may result in

serious personal injury.

2.  Dress properly. Do not wear loose

clothing or jewelry. Keep hair, clothing and

gloves away from moving parts.

3.  Avoid accidental starting. Be sure trigger

is not in locked position before plugging

into a receptacle. Carrying tools with your

finger on the trigger invites accidents.

4.  Use safety equipment. Always wear eye

protection. Dust mask, non-skid safety

shoes, hard hat or hearing protection

must be used for appropriate conditions.

5.

To reduce the risk of electric shock, do

not expose to water or rain. Store indoors.

Household use only. Read instruction

manual before operating.

POLISHER USE AND CARE

1.  Prevent Surface Damage: Always use

a clean pad with each project. Before

beginning, check pad for foreign

elements, dirt and debris. Dirt and debris

can cause damage to the surface of a

vehicle.

2.  Make sure you use two hands while using

the polisher. The polisher rotates at a high

rate of speed and loss of control could

cause damage to the vehicle or harm to

you.

3.  Do not use tool if trigger does not turn on

or off. A polisher that cannot be controlled

is dangerous and must be repaired.

4.  Store the polisher out of reach of children

and other untrained persons.

5.   Check for misalignment or binding of

moving parts, breakage of parts, and

any other conditions that may affect the

tool’s operation. If damaged, have the tool

serviced before using. Many accidents

are caused by poorly maintained tools.

6.  Use only accessories that are

recommended by your model’s

manufacturer. Accessories that may be

suitable for one tool may create an injury

risk when used on another tool.
