Depending on the particular application, different tools
are necessary to mount drives and brackets on the window.

- Knife

- Screwdriver
  slotted, Phillips or torx
  (dependent on screws used)

- Jaw wrench with
  SW2,5 / SW 5

- Possibly rivet tool for
  pop rivet nuts size M5

- Torque wrench

the following

conditions

must be met, to ensure they can be

assembled properly with other parts into a complete machine

without jeopardizing the health or safety of personnel:

1.  The prescribed steps / instructions for assembly must be
     exactly followed and adhered to.

2.  The selected drive must fit to the prescribed application
range with appropriate stroke, stroke force and installation
     length, etc.

3.  Proper fastening accessories (brackets, casement
brackets) must be selected for the particular activation type
selected. Profile-dependent drilling hole patterns must be
     adhered to.

4.  Mounting drives on windows requires that screws and bolts
be selected that are appropriate for the particular window
material such as aluminium, wood, plastic and steel.

5.  The assembler must ensure that he uses tools that are
technically absolutely safe. Furthermore he must be fully
aware of the inherent dangers of all mechanical and
     electrical parts involved.

6.  The electrical connection may only be performed by a
certified electrician in accordance with generally valid
regulations (in Germany - DIN and VDE).

7.  Appropriate space requirements must be met for mounting
     drive on frame and casement.

8.  Prior to assembly, a risk assessment must be made for the
power-driven window and if necessary, risk reduction
measures must be employed. The end user must be
     informed about any remaining risks.

9.  Prior to assembly, the window must be in flawless
condition. It must be easy to open and close.
