Mounting Instruction

Necessary tools
Depending on the particular application, different tools
are necessary to mount drives and brackets on the window.
- Knife
- Screwdriver
slotted, Phillips or torx
(dependent on screws used)
- Jaw wrench with
SW2,5 / SW 5
- Possibly rivet tool for
pop rivet nuts size M5
- Torque wrench
- Power drill with appropriate drills

the following
conditions
must be met, to ensure they can be
assembled properly with other parts into a complete machine
without jeopardizing the health or safety of personnel:
1. The prescribed steps / instructions for assembly must be
exactly followed and adhered to.
2. The selected drive must fit to the prescribed application
range with appropriate stroke, stroke force and installation
length, etc.
3. Proper fastening accessories (brackets, casement
brackets) must be selected for the particular activation type
selected. Profile-dependent drilling hole patterns must be
adhered to.
4. Mounting drives on windows requires that screws and bolts
be selected that are appropriate for the particular window
material such as aluminium, wood, plastic and steel.
5. The assembler must ensure that he uses tools that are
technically absolutely safe. Furthermore he must be fully
aware of the inherent dangers of all mechanical and
electrical parts involved.
6. The electrical connection may only be performed by a
certified electrician in accordance with generally valid
regulations (in Germany - DIN and VDE).
7. Appropriate space requirements must be met for mounting
drive on frame and casement.
8. Prior to assembly, a risk assessment must be made for the
power-driven window and if necessary, risk reduction
measures must be employed. The end user must be
informed about any remaining risks.
9. Prior to assembly, the window must be in flawless
condition. It must be easy to open and close.
