Connections
1.
Connect one end of the telephone line cord to the phone line socket
on the bottom of
the base and the other end to a standard phone wall outlet.
2.
Connect the modular end of the AC power adapter to the power socket
on the bottom
of the base and plug the AC adapter into a standard AC wall outlet.
3.
Route the cords through the routing grooves as shown.

Wrong connections can seriously damage the base.
Use only the genuine AC adapter provided with the base.
Installing the Batteries
Two rechargeable AAA NiMH batteries come with your phone. Install the batteries before using your
phone.
1.
Slide the battery cover in the direction of the arrow, and remove it.
2.
In case of battery replacing only, remove the old batteries.
3.
Insert the two batteries in the compartment taking care to the right polarity (+ and - as stated
in the battery compartment).
4.
To replace the battery cover, slide the cover up until it snaps in place.
