SETTING
Using the Setting menu, you can customize various settings such as the standby display and lan-
guage used to display the menu messages.
Setting a Handset Name
Using this feature, you can define a name of the handset in order to easily recognize your handset
if you have more then one registered on the same base.
To set the handset name:
Selecting a Language
You can change the language used to display the menu messages.
MENU
Press the MENU soft key to display the main
menu items.
SELECT
Press repeatedly the navigation keys to
choose 3.Setting, then press the SELECT soft
key.
SELECT
Press the SELECT soft key to access 1.Hand-
set Name.
SELECT
It will appear the indication Select Mode, press
the navigation keys to choose ON, then press
the SELECT soft key.

At this time, enter the name, up to 15 characters
long, you want to assign to the handset (as
described at
) and then the SELECT soft key.
Press the end/on/off key to return to Standby
mode. You will see the result of your settings
(name of the handset instead of the number of
the base followed by the number of the hand-
set).
