In Standby Mode
You can store a phone number after dialing a number without accessing the Phonebook menu.

When you are entering the number, you can also insert one or more dialing pauses in order to store
them in the phonebook as well. For details please see the
chapter Entering a Dialing Pause on
Entering a Dialing Pause
A pause is useful when you access an interactive voice response system, such as an automated
banking system. A pause provides a delay of 3 seconds.
When you are dialing a number in Standby mode and need to insert a pause, please follow these
steps:

You can store numbers with pauses in the phonebook by using the procedure described in the
chapter Storing a Number on page 109
in conjunction with this one.

EDIT
Enter a phone number in Standby mode, then
press the EDIT soft key.
EDIT
Select 1.Save Number by pressing again the
EDIT soft key.
SELECT
Select the field marked with the house icon
(home number) or the one marked with the
mobile phone icon (mobile number) by using
the navigation keys and press the SELECT
soft key. You will see the number you entered
in the selected position.
