When connecting this telephone to an Auerswald PBX you can use the option 3.Make a call only
with restriction, as you must add a preceding exchange line access number to the external number.
Using Outbox and Draft
The Outbox on your phone stores the last 20 outgoing short messages successfully sent, while the
Draft box stores the unsent messages (when you type a message and select Save Only as
explained in
chapter Sending SMS on page 118
) and failed ones (when you unsuccessfully tried to
send a message as explained in
chapter Message Transmission on page 119
). The Draft can store
10 messages in total. If necessary, you can review or resend any messages stored in the Outbox
or in the Draft. To view a message in the Outbox or in the Draft:
Press the SMS key to display the SMS menu
items. Or, press the MENU soft key to display
the main menu items, then select 1.SMS by
pressing the SELECT soft key.
SELECT
The number to the right of the line show the
number of messages.
Press repeatedly the navigation keys to
choose 3.Outbox or 4.Draft, then press the
SELECT soft key.
SELECT
The display shows the list of the outgoing mes-
sages.
Select a message that you want to read using
the navigation keys, and press the SELECT
soft key.
OPTION
The display shows the message text, the
addressee's phone number, and the time in
which you sent the message.
You can access the following options by press-
ing the OPTION soft key.
SELECT
Press repeatedly the navigation keys to
choose:

1.Send Same Msg - allows you to send the
message as it is.
앫
2.Write Msg - allows you to edit the mes-
sage and then send it.
Moreover, only for SMS messages, the follow-
ing additional options appear:

3.Make a Call - allows you to call the sender
back.
앫
4.Save Number - saves the sender's phone
number in your phonebook.
앫
5.Delete - deletes the selected message
