5. ATC Virtual Cabinet Emulator
Brief description of each section:
Tool Bar
has the icons that allow you to open and save layouts, load in
templates, and transform components that you have selected.
Help
button allows you to follow a series of bubble hints that walk through
how to use the intersection layout components.
Intersection Layout Component Selection
section allows you to drag and
drop components onto your workspace. You can completely customize your
intersection layout using these components.
For more information please refer to the detailed description of intersection
layout in TS2 Cabinet Emulator section (page 14).
5.6. Running the ATC Virtual Cabinet Emulator
Make sure the Interface Software and the TVC-3800 USB driver are installed
and TVC-3800 is connected to a SB1 port of the Controller cable with
GREEN
heatshrink and also connected to a USB port of the computer. The POWER
indicator on the TVC-3800 should be ON.
Start the ATC Virtual Cabinet Emulator software.
When the software opens, configure the Virtual CMU Programming card by
clicking
Load Configuration
button and selecting the proper configuration.

section on
page 23
for detail description of
loading CMU settings.
After the CMU is configured, click
Connect
button to connect the Interface
software to TVC-3800. After connecting, the Connect and all CMU Load
Configuration button's should be disabled and
Disconnect
button should be
enabled.
Apply power to the Controller Unit. Now, the virtual cabinet should be running.
Inputs to the Controller can be changed by checking and unchecking the
checkboxes in the SIU Loop Call Inputs Inputs section. If a change in the CMU
Programming Card is needed, disconnect from TVC-3800 by clicking
Disconnect
button, change the CMU configuration, and click
Connect
button
again.
