Web configuration - Network settings

The user can
configure both LAN and WLAN interfaces in this section
.

There are four
configurable parts under
Network Settings
which are
LAN interface, Wireless LAN interface, Default
Gateway and DNS Server
.
The first configurable option under the Network Settings is Gratuitous ARP
(
Address
Resolution Protocol
).
This option enables SW550X device to periodically send out an ARP response automatically
to notify
that SW550X device is in the network
.
The frequency of transmission is in minutes
which can be selected
from the pull
-
down menu and the period of transmission in the unit of minutes
can be set in the followed textbox
as shown.

SW550X device can get IP information automatically from a DHCP server in LAN
.
The user can
check the box in
front of the
“
Obtain an IP Address Automatically
”
to get the necessary IP
information or enter the IP values manually if known in the Manual Settings section of this part
.
