2.8 Download new Applications to the device
New ap plications can be downloaded in two ways :
2.8.1 Using TFTP protocol

Please execute t f t pd32.exe in the remote P C and modify targe t folder and I P address as
Figure 2.8

Login into the targe t device (under Linux console) and enter :
t f t p -g r YOUR_AP P_NAME YOUR_TFT P_SERVER_ I P
Remember to use "chmod" command to modify the access at t r ibutes of these files . I f t ransmission failed, please check
the networking connection.
2.8.2 Using FTP protocol


Login the Linux sys tem in order to make sure the network connection is fine .
Use any 3rd pa r ty f t p software to t ransfe r the files. For example, use File Z illa as
