User Management
This section allows you to manage users and groups.
Users and Groups
Groups allow administrators to easily and efficiently manage users and
devices. Since device access rights apply to anyone who is a member of the
group, administrators only need to set them once per group, instead of having
to set them for each user individually. Multiple groups can be defined to allow
some users access to specific devices, while restricting other users from
accessing them.
The KVM over IP console station supports two privilege categories as
determined by “User Types”. User types are selected during user creation. The
description is shown in the table below:
Click “Users” or “Groups” under “User Management” in the side menu to
bring out their respective configuration page.
