Testing Your Changes
You can test the changes you make on the Setup screen before you make them
permanent. This feature allows you to see how your changes affect your system.
For example, you can:
■
Change the color settings, and then test to see if they fit your needs.
■
Change a time interval for getting new data, and then test to determine if
the change has a negative affect on your network traffic.
To test your changes without making them permanent, do
one
of the following:
■
Click on Apply at the lower left corner of the screen.
■
Select Options
à
Apply.
The changes you make are in effect for the current session only and are lost
when you exit Fault Management.
Saving Changes
If you are satisfied with the changes you have made, use the following procedure
to save them for this and future sessions.
1. Select Apply at either of the following locations:
