Overview

This chapter describes how to perform the acceptance test to verify proper
operation of the Remote Maintenance Device (RMD). This test is intended only
to supplement the instructions for performing acceptance tests detailed in
Chapter 6 of the

MERLIN MAIL® Voice Messaging System Release 3 Planning,

Installation, and Use (AT&T 585-320-142)

. Instructions for troubleshooting

problems with the MERLIN LEGEND MAIL system are also included in this
chapter.
